Jon’s expertise spans the entire drug development lifecycle—from early discovery to commercialization. Before MedPharm, he held senior leadership roles at Stiefel (a GSK company), where he led nonclinical teams responsible for the development of both prescription and consumer healthcare products, driving strategic preclinical safety programs and regulatory submissions that contributed to multiple NDA and IND approvals. His early career included key scientific roles at Connetics Corporation, where he focused on formulation innovation and nonclinical regulatory support.

A respected expert in topical and transdermal drug development, Jon has worked across private, public, and private equity-backed pharmaceutical and contract research organizations, contributing to over 50 marketed products. His passion for innovation is rooted in a strong scientific foundation—he holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Reading, an MS in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Kentucky, and a BA in Biology and Psychology from the University of Denver.
